Elnora "Eli" Queen, 94, of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 11, 2019. She was born December 12, 1924 in Boston and was the daughter of the late Howard and Winifred (Anglum) Carnahan and was the wife of the late Melvin H. Queen. Eli was a member of the former First United Presbyterian Church of Boston and had worked for General Electric Credit in Greensburg and The Realty Company in McKeesport.

 She is survived by her daughter, Judith A. (Chuck) Shidel of North Huntingdon, grandchildren, Kimberly Love, Katrina (Keith) Venturella and Charles Dean (Sue) Shidel, great-grandchildren, Ty, Colby, and Madison Love, Jacob and Joshua Shidel and Robert Polachak, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Harold D. Dennison, II, brother, Clifford Carnahan, and sisters, Mary Howell and Winifred Clay. Friends are welcome Sunday, April 14, 2019 from 2-5 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, Director.
