Gary Thomas Leffard, 65, of Liberty Boro, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019. He was born October 15, 1953 in McKeesport and was the son of the late William W. Leffard and the late Jean (Carroll) Leffard Santucci. Gary was a member of Mentor Road Bible Church in Forward Township where he was a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and Choir member. He was also involved in Softball, Dart Ball and Bowling there. He was a Soccer Coach and Referee and enjoyed singing. He had worked for US Steel National Tube Works and Clairton Works, Louis-Grants, Inc, Channel 40 CTV, and Option Insulation.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kathleen (Gergas) Leffard, sons, Gary M. (Stacie) Leffard, Sr, of Hempfield Township, and Sean W. Leffard and Matthew J. (Christine) Leffard of Liberty Boro, grandchildren, Seth, Bane, Fallon, Kathryn and Gary M. Leffard, Jr, sisters, Peggy (Terry) Komyanik of Liberty Boro, and Lois Vehec of North Versailles, brothers, Bill (Irene) Santucci of McKeesport, and Butch (Kitty) Kelly of Kansas City, KS, aunt, Della Santucci of McKeesport, cousins, Ethel Nash, Helen Stabler Oliverio, Jodi Gilroy, Colleen Carroll Marshall, and Eva Santuci Wertz, sister-in-laws, Donna (James) Newton and Joanne Byers, brother-in-law, Joseph Marcelli, dear friend and brother, Joe Bellan, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Vicki Marcelli and Joyce Ann Santucci, brothers, Bobby and Larry Santucci, step-father, Robert V. Santucci Aunt Sis Hoak Stabler and Uncle Elmer Hoak, uncles, Bill Santucci and Thomas Carroll, brother-in-law, George Vehec and cousin, Chuck Stabler. Friends are welcome Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
