Michael Spearnak, age 97, of Cedar Grove, New Jersey, formerly of McKeesport, died July 26, 2019, at Morristown Medical Center. Born March 3, 1922, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late John and Kathryn (Kaleta) Spearnak.

Mike retired from the General Motors Corp., where he was an Engineer. He earned his BS from Waynesburg College and his BSME from West Virginia University. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during WWII. Mike was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church of McKeesport.
He is survived by his sons, Mark R. of Fort Collins, CO, Wayne (Linda) of Basking Ridge, NJ, Michael J. (Leslie) of Fort Collins, CO, and Scott (Diane) of Fort Collins, CO; grandchildren,Taylor, Megan, Evan, Eboni, Constance, Liam and Eva; also nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mike was also preceded in death by his siblings, Pearl, Stella, Peter, and Walter.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, August 3rd from 11 a.m. until the time of blessing at 1 p.m. Father Gregory Madeya will officiate. Committal prayers and burial will follow in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
