Robert Pliska, age 72, of White Oak, died August 15, 2019, at home. Born January 20, 1947, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Mike and Victoria (Crocak) Pliska and the husband of the late Michelle (Sullivan) Pliska.

Robert was retired from National Carbide Die Company, where he was a machinist. He graduated from McKeesport High School, Class of 1964. Robert enjoyed golfing, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and going to dinner and a movie with his long-time friend, Elsie Boucik. Robert is survived by his niece, Amanda (Mark) Cottone; nephews, Jeffery Gusky,  and Ronald (Amy) Gusky; sisters-in-law, Patricia (Ronald) Gusky, Geri (Michael) Sullivan Zona of Southern Shores, NC, and Sharyn (R.Q.) Simmons of Southern Pines, NC; great-nieces, Dalana, Alex, Gabby, and Aven; great-nephews, Jason, and Mason; long-time friends, Wayne, Larry, and John.
In addition to his parents and wife, Robert was also preceded in death by his daughter, Samantha Pliska; brother, Mike D. Pliska; sister, Kathleen Pliska.
Arrangements were entrusted to Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory. A memorial service and inurnment will take place at the New St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
