Dale Ellsworth Sampson, 76, of Port Vue, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019. He was born March 21, 1943 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Ellsworth and Edith (Dale) Sampson. He was the husband of the late Mary Ann (Graham) Sampson who passed away March 19, 2010. He was a member of the Glassport United Methodist Church and was retired from Vincent's Welding in West Elizabeth. Dale was a US Air Force Veteran.

He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly (John) Carson of Port Vue and Robin (Mark) DiPerna of Elizabeth Township, sons, William (Shannon) Sampson of Jacksonville, FL, and Samuel (Sandra) Sampson of Maine, brother, Samuel (Ginger) Sampson of Washington, grandchildren, Danielle, Taylor and Justin DiPerna and Cassandra and Jack Carson, and Amanda and John Sampson, great grandchildren, Jillian Sabatino, Aubrey Bryan, Karrissa, Joycelyn, and Andrew Lou, nieces, nephews and his dear friend, Ginny. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Kersey. Friends are welcome Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 1-4 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak.
