Elizabeth "Libby" Smith, 80, of Boston, PA, passed away September 23, 2019 at her home. She was born May 15, 1939 in McKeesport.

The daughter of the late Paul Flohr and Jessie Curry Benik. Libby served as a school crossing guard for Elizabeth Twp. along with her daughter Kim for many years.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Dowden and Kim Smith and her son, Mark Dowden. She is also survived by grandchildren, Ryan Dowden, Taylor Dowden and Allie Elizabeth Balko, and one great grandchild Ezra Dowden; Also neices and nephews.

Friends will be received Thursday September 26, 2019 in the Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 6028 Smithfield St. Boston PA. from 2:00 to 5:00pm. A funeral service will be held at 5:00pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the family. The William H. Craig Funeral Home Inc. of McKeesport is assisting with arrangments.
