Robert John Morningstar, 72, of North Huntingdon, passed away Friday, October 4, 2019. He was born November 14, 1946 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Robert Carl and Rose Dorothy (Finnegan) Morningstar. Robert was retired from Jefferson Hospital and had previously worked for Thrift Drugs, Eckerd Drugs and US Steel. He was a US Navy Veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda J. (Wells) Morningstar, son, Derek Ryan Morningstar of North Huntingdon, grandchildren, Noah Walter and Riley Elizabeth Morningstar, sister, Diane Peroney of Elizabeth Township, brother, James and his wife, Bonnie Morningstar of Glassport, God-children, Jason Peroney and Kirsten Peroney Radaker, and nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 10 am to 12 noon at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 628 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
