William M. Schivley, 78, of Pleasant Hills, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2016 at home.

He was a retired engineer at Westinghouse in Monroeville and an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. Born April 20, 1938 in Elizabeth, he was a son of the late Regis T. and Lois (Caldwell) Schivley. He is survived by his wife, Joan L. (Lacher) Schivley; daughters, Meredith (Paul Mertz) Schivley of Pleasant Hills and Lauren (David Kern) Schivley of Hoboken, NJ; sister, Dona (William) Kuch of Pensacola, FL; brother, Regis C. (Carolee) Schivley of West Chester; also nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Loisanne Firster and Mary Catherine Ruby. According to Bill’s wishes no visitation is scheduled. Private burial will take place in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp.
