Timothy R. "Dr. Rock" Beal Sr., 64, of Forward Twp., died peacefully at home on Sunday, October 27, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 17, 1955, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late George A. and Elizabeth (Lopota) Beal. Mr. Beal was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish, Duquesne, and a retired Maintenance Department employee of the former Duquesne Works, U.S. Steel Corporation. He was also a former organist and drummer of Christ Lutheran Church in Duquesne, owner of Sharon's Pizza Shop in Duquesne, and was happiest when he was disc jockeying at weddings and parties.
Mr. Beal is survived by his loving wife Sharon (Denne) Beal, a son, Timothy R. Beal Jr. (Fiance, Crystal), a daughter, MaryBeth (Fiance, Derek Pero), two brothers, George R. (Annie) Beal and Barry (Marla) Beal, a sister, Barbara Helsel, nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received from 2-8pm on Monday, October 28, 2019, in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Inc, Richford and Commonwealth Avenue, Duquesne. A Blessing in the Memorial Home on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 9:30am will be followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Joseph R.C. Church, Duquesne, with Rev. John McKenna as Celebrant. Mr. Bell will be laid to rest in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Twp. In Lieu of flowers please make donations to Gallagher Hospice, 1370 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, PA 15017.
