Walter Butler, Jr., 73, of McKeesport, PA, died Monday, May 23, 2016 at home. Walter was born November 5, 1942 in Cairo, Georgia He was the son of Walter Butler Sr. and Jurie B. Harold Ford.

Walter attended The Institute of Culinary Education in New York and formerly worked as a chef at the Waldorf Astoria New York.

Surviving are son, Walter Butler, III of Spring Hill, FL; daughters,Betty Maize of Elizabeth, PA; Jamie Armstead of Pittsburgh, and sister, Annmarie Ford of Clairton. He was preceded in death by step-father, Robert Ford, sister, Betty Butler Battle, brother, Joe Albritton.

Friends will be received at the at the Robert A. Waters Funeral Home, Inc., 449 Mitchell Avenue, Clairton, PA Friday, May 27, 2016 from 10:00 am-12:00 pm with funeral services to be held at 12:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Solomon Armstead officiating.
