Departed this life May 18, 2016 in Briarcliff Pavilion, North Huntingdon, PA.  Born March 11, 1972 in McKeesport, PA, daughter of Ernest Albert Adams Jr. and Carmelita Redwood.  Loving granddaughter of Mary Aileen Redwood of McKeesport.  Tameka was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Paul M. Redwood, Sr. and paternal grandparents, Mary Frances Adams-Strover, Ernest A. Adams, Sr. and Otis Strover all of McKeesport.

Known as "Tee" by relatives and close friends who loved her, Tameka was a 1990 graduate of McKeesport High Echool and she fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a cosmetologist after graduating from Empire Beauty Academy, West Mifflin, PA. in 2010.  She was employed at Kool Kutz in McKeesport and Magic Beauty Salon in Homestead before working at home.

She was a great mother to her tree children and godchildren.  Tee would do anything she could for the children.  Many times she has a house full of children simply because she loved children.

Surviving are two daughters, Tikea M. Warren of McKeesport, Tameeka I. Warren of McKeesport, son, Tahj L. Thomas of McKeesport; brother, Lamont E. Adams, Sr. of McKeesport; DeAsia Adams (only niece) of Duquesne; nephews, Lamont, Jr., Dalane, Darius and Damont; uncles, Paul Redwood, Jr. and John Redwood; aunts, Angel  Redwood, Wendy Thomas and Diane Champagene, more than 10 godchildren; and grandmother, Mary Redwood of McKeesport; and a host of cousins, relatives and loving friends.

Friends will be received Saturday, June 4, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 12 Noon at New Beginnings Church, 705 Shaw Avenue, McKeesport, Pennsylvania 15132. Services will be held at 12 Noon with Rev. Brenda Stinson officiating.
