Lois J. Steiner, 94, of Jeannette, died on  January 28, 2020, at the Greensburg Care Center. Born on April 22, 1925, in Westmorland County, she was the daughter of the late Peter J. and Edith (Frye) Lefevre and the wife of the late John Steiner.

Lois was an artistic and caring person. She loved quilting and had a sweet tooth for a good chocolate. Lois was a member of American Legion Post #344 of Jeannette.
Lois is survived by her grandchildren, Kim (Matt) Young of Export, PA, John (Lisa) Dorff of Jeannette PA, Chucky Brant Greensburg, PA; great-grandchildren Brittany, Cody, Nathaniel, and Lauren; great-great-grandchildren, Autumn and Gracelynn; also many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lois was preceded in death by first husband, Russell C. Smith Sr.; children, Carol A. Brant, and Russell C. Smith Jr.; also brother, Peter J. Lefevre.
