Rose M. Cafiero, 95, of White Oak, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2020. She was born October 4, 1924 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Nick and Clorinda (Liberatore) Cafiero . She was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish - St. Patrick Church in Christy Park. She was a graduate of McKeesport High School Class of 1942 where she was an accomplished flutist in the Orchestra and Marching Band. Rose worked for the former G.C. Murphy Co. Home Office in their Sales Promotion Department for 42 years and was a member of the S.M.E.R.F. organization.

In her younger years, Rose enjoyed traveling to various parts of our country and especially making several trips to Italy to visit many relatives. She also enjoyed hosting dinner parties in her home and baking Italian Bread, always sharing it with friends and family. She is survived by her cousins, Roz Ruzanic, Rose Crupie and numerous cousins in Italy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Mutolo. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, March 9, 2020 at 10:00 am at Mary, Mother of God Parish - St Patrick Church. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, North Versailles.
