Theresa Renee Spell, 58, of McKeesport, was born on March 30, 1962 to Willie Mae “Jenny” Stinson and the late Albert Nixon. Absent from the body, but present with the Lord, Theresa passed away on April 5, 2020 at the UMPC McKeesport Hospital.

Theresa, a graduate of McKeesport Area High School where she was a tiger cheerleader, was a Homemaker. She was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She nurtured and filled the home with a joyful spirit. Her voice could be heard through the soulful sounds of Gospel Music.

Theresa is survived by her daughters, Danielle Renee Spell, Cia Annie Mae Spell, Keiel Spell,  all of McKeesport, PA; sons, Thomas Terrle Spell of Washington, PA, Aaron, Keith, and Kemon Spell, all of McKeesport, PA; sister, Keora Stinson; brothers, Keith and Kevin Nixon; 10 grandchildren, two of them she reared, Tyjeir and Sanae Spell; devoted companion, James Hammonds; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
