Christina Delores Ellison, of Clairton, Pennsylvania, died June 16, 2016 in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital .Born February 18, 1936 in Pittsburgh, daughter of Elmer Briscoe and Johnnie Lucille Chambers Briscoe. She was the wife of the late Daniel J. Ellison, Jr.

Christina was a sixty year member of Morning Start Baptist Church. She worked as a Nurse's Assistant at the John J. Kane Facility in Scott Township and retired from St. Clair Hospital. Surviving are daughter Vanessa L. Hill of Mechanicsburg, son Gary L. Briscoe of Orlando, Florida, granddaughter, whom she reared, Soncerria Briscoe-Porter of Clairton; sister, Shirley McCray of Clairton; special friend/caretaker, Felix Majors of Clairton; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins . She was preceded in death by son, Vance Tyrone Briscoe, brother, Robert F, Briscoe, sister, Shirley Bender. Friends will be received Sunday, June 19, 2016 from 4-8 pm at Morning Start Baptist Church, 307 Shaw Ave., Clairton, PA 15025 where funeral services will be held Monday, June 20, 2016 at 11:00 am with Rev. Willie J. Thompson, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth, PA.
