Anthony F. "Tony" Colello, age 81, of White Oak, died June 30, 2020, at home. Born October 2, 1938, he was the son of late Ralph and Rose (Teber) Colello and the beloved husband of Patricia (Yurick) Colello for over 58 years.

Anthony F. "Tony" Colello, age 81, of White Oak, died June 30, 2020, at home. Born October 2, 1938, he was the son of late Ralph and Rose (Teber) Colello and the beloved husband of Patricia (Yurick) Colello for over 58 years.
Tony was an insurance agent with Prudential for 27 years, Baltimore Life Insurance for ten years, and he was a real estate agent with The Reality Company for several years. He was also secretary for the McKeesport Jaycees, where he received the Frank Striffler Jaycee Man of the year award. After retiring, he delivered prescriptions for Rite Aid in White Oak. Tony and his wife were sole proprietors of the former Colello's Pizza on Grandview Ave. in McKeesport, Pa.
He was a US Army veteran, serving during peacetime. Tony was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, formerly St. Angela Merici Church. In his early years, he played clarinet and saxophone with several bands, including the US Army, while enlisted. Tony enjoyed family gatherings, reading, computer games, yard work, gardening, and playing poker with, "Cousins Sunday Card Club."
In addition to his wife Patricia, Tony is also survived by his children, Debra (Kevin) Kanak of Manor and Jill (Scott) Reed of West Newton; grandchildren, Frank (Kara Heathcock) Kanak, Devyn (Adam Daniels) Kanak, and Hailee Prinkey; sister-in-law, JoAnn Yurick of Conneaut Lake, Pa; also nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother Ralph (Helen) Colello and his  Sister Marie (Tom) Henry.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, July 5, 2020, from Noon to 2 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, 10 a.m., at St. Angela Merici Church. Committal service and entombment will follow at New St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum.
