Geraldine D. "Gerry" (Balombiny) Selznick, 86, of Duquesne, Fell asleep in the Lord, peacefully, on Friday June 26, 2020 in Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Jefferson Hills. Born in Duquesne, June 18, 1934, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Hayduk) Balombiny. Beloved wife of the late Edgar A. Selznick, she is survived by a daughter, Kathleen McCormick, a son, David Selznick, a brother, Francis Balombiny, one granddaughter, Jacqueline Fraas, a great grandchild, Carson Fraas, a nephew, Edward Balombiny, and a great niece, Heather Myer. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Selznick was also preceded in death by two brothers, Raymond and Edward Balombiny, a sister, Irene Bartos, and a nephew, Jan Balombiny.

Family and friends were received on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 from 4-8 P.M. in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Inc., 828 Richford Street, Duquesne. A Blessing service in the Memorial Home on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 10 A.M. was followed by burial in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
