Janet C. Jenkins, age 75, of Pittsburgh, formerly of White Oak, died July 9, 2020, at Vincentian Marian Manor of Pittsburgh. Born August 12, 1944, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late James L. and Jane (Fritchey) Crosby and the wife of the late Joseph W. Jenkins.

Janet worked many jobs throughout her life, but caring for her family was her greatest joy. She enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren.
Janet is survived by her children, Jenny (Bryan) Deering of Pittsburgh, and James (Jami) Jenkins of North Huntingdon; grandchildren, Brandon, Alex, Joshua Jenkins, Aydan and Nolan Deering; brothers, James D. (Linda) Crosby of White Oak, and Judd Crosby of Murrysville; sister-in-law, Joy Shussett of Balboa, CA; also nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were entrusted to Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory.
Burial will take place at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, where a private graveside service will be celebrated.
