Kathleen Rosso, age 61, of Port Vue, died June 23, 2016, at UPMC McKeesport. Born May 7, 1955, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Phillip and Helen (Novotniak) Rosso.
Kathleen was a member of Holy Family Polish National Catholic Church in McKeesport. She dedicated her working life to helping children with special needs. A former teacher at Baldwin-Whitehall School District, she currently served as a private, special education tutor. Kathleen’s favorite pastime was going to the casinos with her family.

Survivors include siblings, Jean Ann(Dennis) Crouch of North Huntingdon, Ilene (Jerome) Lucot of Keystone, GA, Marlene (Michael) Jobes of Port Vue, Helene (Ronald) Tyler of Liberty Borough, Christine (Joaquin) Maldonado of New Britian, CT, Philip (Laurie) Rosso of North Huntingdon, Colleen (John) Pikras of Upper St. Cair, Patricia (Joseph) Bagshaw of Hempfield Twp.; nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday from 12 until 8 p.m. Funeral service will be Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory in McKeesport. Father Bruce Sleczkowski will officiate. Committal service and interment will follow, beside her beloved parents, in Saint Peter and Paul Cemetery in North Huntingdon.
