Karen Malackany, 49, died Oct. 8, 2020. She was born Dec. 14, 1970, a daughter of the late Pauline (nee Belinsky and Michael Malackany. Dear sister of Michele (Steve) Rudolph, Paula (Don Frazier) Gilmer, Steve (Lisa) Malackany and the late Jeff Malackany.

Karen is also survived by her uncle, Bob Malackany and numerous nieces and nephews. Karen loved music and singing and especially dancing Polkas with her dad. She would light up the room with her infectious laugh and smile.

The family would like to thank the care givers for Karen at Passavant Madison Home for all the love and support they gave their sister Karen. Family and friends are welcome in the Alfieri Funeral Home Inc. Wilmerding, Pa 412-824-4332 on Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 Pm. A Panachida Service will begin at 7:00 Pm in the funeral home.

Liturgy will begin at 10:00 Am Tuesday at Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church, Wall Pa. Please meet directly at the church on Tuesday.
