Kirk "Bubba" William Campbell, 54, of Greenock, formerly of Versailles, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 8, 1966 in McKeesport and was the son of Edward J. (Peggy) Campbell of Florida and the late Barbara L. "Babs" (Johnston) Campbell. Kirk was a Truck Driver for Waste Management and was a member of Teamsters Local 249. He was also a member of the former Boston Vol. Fire Co., and Versailles Vol. Fire Co. Kirk enjoyed hunting and riding his motorcycle and lawn tractor.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his brothers, Edward J. (Bette Rae) Campbell, Jr., and Keith H. (Kimberley) Campbell of Greenock, sister, Wendy A. (Mark Castor) McBride of Finleyville, his companion of 32 years, Dorothy "Cookie" Gillie and her sons, Jeffrey (Robin) Gillie and David (Vicki) Gillie and grandchildren, Danielle (Craig) Gillie and Gavin Gillie, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, his best friend, Ron Makosey of Boston, and his faithful dog, Oscar and his great-grand dog, Franklin. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 1-5 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
