Ruth Ann (Pazo) Skop, 84, of Clairton, passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at Riverside Care Center. A retired phlebotomist for UPMC McKeesport, she was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton and an avid supporter of the American Cancer Society and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.

Born March 24, 1932 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late George and Sarah (Houston) Pazo, and wife of the late Edward J. Skop. She is survived by daughters, Mary Ellen Skop of Clairton, and Felicia S. (Jerry) Brillant of Tyrone, GA; grandchildren, Justin (Brittany) Hargrove of New York, NY, Sophia (Rainer) Collins of Sharpsburgh, GA, Sarah (Jonathan) Vickers of Newnan, GA, and Alex Brillant of Tyrone, GA; great-grandchild, Wyatt Vickers; sister, Margaret DeDominicis of Clairton, PA; also, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by sister, Rosemary Rudez, and brother, the Rev. John T. Pazo. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Riverside Care Center and Grane Hospice Care. No visitation is scheduled. Family and friends are welcome to offer condolences to the family before the 10:30 AM Mass at St. Clare of Assisi Parish on Saturday, July 16, 2016.
