Anna Marie Gillott, age 87, of North Huntingdon died December 8, 2020 in Allegheny General Hospital. She was born May 24, 1933 in Adamsburg, a daughter of the late William and Vida Steiner. Anna Marie was a member of St. Agnes Church and was devoted to her faith. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and often referred to them as the magnificent seven. She cherished time spent with family.
She was a 1951 graduate of Sewickley High School, Hermine and a 1954 graduate of the Presbyterian School of Nursing. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital, Briarcliff, St. Anne Nursing Home and a private duty nurse.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Charles Kertis, and a sister, Alfrieda and her husband, John "Currie" Bruno. She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Floyd Gillott, two sons, Greg and his wife Laurie, Keith and his wife Vicki, two daughters, Julianne Chapman (William), Maribeth Kertis, one brother, William Steiner (Mary Ann), 7 grandchildren, Madeline Stupy (Tyson), Samuel Chapman (Alexis), Matthew Gillott ( girlfriend Courtney), Joshua Gillott (Emily), Lynne Gillott (Ryan)Tony Gillott, and Stephen Kertis. Visitation and services will be private. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Westmoreland Memorial Park.
