Cynthia Diane Bryant
Obituaries | The Tube City Almanac | December 22, 2020
Cynthia Diane Bryant, 71, died Dec. 16, 2020. She was born to the late James & Mary E. Bryant on March 18, 1949 and was the beloved sister to William “Billy” Bryant (deceased). She was raised and remained a much loved and adored resident of the West Mifflin (Riverview Homes Association) community.
After graduating from West Mifflin North High School, Cynthia began her career at US Steel where she worked for a number of years. After the closing of US Steel she devoted 30 years of service to the accounts payable department at PNC Bank, where she retired in 2015. While maintaining her many roles, without complaint, Cynthia still found the time to double as the supervisor and seamstress for The Children of Praise Mime Ministry, a role which she immensely enjoyed.
Cynthia leaves behind to carry her legacy of hope, dedication and love, two sons, Kevin Lee Brown, of West Mifflin, PA & James Lamar Brown, of Venetia (Peters Township), PA. She leaves the following to keep the torch lit for the future generations to come, two daughters-in-law Leonette Brown (Kevin), Nicole King-Brown (James), three grandchildren, Imani Rose Brown (James), Jayla Marie Brown (James Brown & Lechelle Stringa), and Joshua Caleb Brown (Kevin & Leonette). One godson, Courtney Washington and she joyfully inherited (through the union of James & Nicole) four granddaughters: Omeshia, Jackie, Mary and Maxine King. Four great grandchildren: Zayden Stringer-King, Shawn Patrick O’leary, Mckynzie Stringer-King and Majid Brice.
Although Cynthia was seriously afraid of dogs, she fell in love with one in particular, Her Great Grand Puppy “Luna” (Puppy of Grandson Joshua Caleb Brown).
Cynthia was a loving daughter, sister, mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, godmother, friend, mentor and “Spiritual Mother” to many sons and daughters who affectionately knew her as “Mommy T”.
So the Lord God instructed Cynthia “to make yourself an “Ark”, I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth. Cynthia did everything just as God commanded her.
The Lord then said to Cynthia “go into the Ark”
The Lord then said to Cynthia “go into the Ark”
The Lord then said to Cynthia “go into the Ark”
Because I have found you righteous in this generation. God gently called Cynthia into the “Ark” on 12-16-2020 from the comfort of her home. He carried her away to safety in His Loving Arms and she will be greatly missed but forever in our hearts.
Amen!
