Rosemary Blaha, age 72, of Port Vue, passed away unexpectedly December 27, 2020, at Jefferson Hospital. Born January 13, 1948, in Buena Vista, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Marcella (Skiffington) Goodfellow and the beloved wife of Jack Blaha for 55 years.
Rosemary worked many places throughout her life, including McKeesport Hospital, Pool City, and as a special needs bus monitor for South Allegheny School District (PA Coach Lines). She was a member of the Port Vue United Methodist Church. Rosemary loved being a softball mom aka Mrs. B to so many. Rosemary was a 1965 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School and earned an Associates Degree from the New York Institute of Photography. She continued showing her passion by creating memories through many photo albums which she shared with family and friends. Rosemary enjoyed family vacations to Deep Creek, MD and Myrtle Beach, SC. Her greatest gift in life was the love and devotion she showed to her husband, children, and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Rosemary leaves behind her four children, John Paul Blaha of Port Vue, Kimberly (Mike) Ridilla of Greensburg, Richard (Cathy) Blaha of Boston, and Diana (Joel) Blaha of McKeesport; grandchildren, Brittany (Jon) Blaha of Irwin, Kailey (Zack) Blaha of West Mifflin, Michael Ridilla Jr. of Greensburg, Jenn (Steve) Ridilla Helferstay of O'Fallon, MO; great-grandson, Leo Thomas Blaha Simon of West Mifflin; siblings, Paul (Debbie) Goodfellow of Ligonier, Jerry Goodfellow of Buena Vista, Pat Goodfellow of West Newton, and Carol (Craig) Southern of West Newton; also many nieces and nephews and last but not least her beloved dog Sadie.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her niece, Jill Ann Goodfellow Rankin.
Family and friends will be received at Willig Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, December 31, 2020, from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pastor William Meekins will offficiate.
