Pauline Hazel Campaneo, 87 of Elizabeth Township, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020. She was born December 31, 1932 in Arnold City and was the daughter of the late Paul and Edith (Hawk) Hegedus. She was the wife of the late Rudolph J. Campaneo who passed away December 24, 2019. Pauline was a member of the Central Highlands Community United Methodist Church, Elizabeth Township Senior Citizens, Life Span, The McKeesport Heritage Center, and the Versailles Croatian Club. She loved her grandchildren, cooking, baking (especially pies) and dancing. Pauline loved to laugh and make you laugh by her silly antics! She was always lighthearted and smiling, what a blessing she was to us!
She is survived by her daughters, Renee Pauline (James) Stapf of Rilton, and Michelle Edith (Edward) Craven of Lincoln Borough, son, Rudolph J. (Lori) Campaneo, Jr, of Elizabeth Township, grandchildren, Briennan (Paul) Haines, Autumn Craven, Kayla Stapf, Bronson Stapf, and Lexie Campaneo, great-grandchildren, Remington and Benelli Moskala, and Colton, Cameron, and Cooper Haines, sisters, Joyce (Joe) Majors of Donora and Carol Bridgeman of Groton, CN, and nieces, nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Shirley (Don) Stonfer and Mary Lou (Lou) Mazza. Visitation and services are private. Entombment will be at the Mount Vernon Cemetery Mausoleum, Elizabeth Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at 412-261-5040.
