Evelyn Mae Shaw, 93, of New Stanton, formerly of McKeesport, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at home. She was born January 5, 1928 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Katherine (Ditter) Kreiling. She was the beloved wife of the late John R. Shaw who passed away January 15, 2005.

Evelyn's mother Katherine passed away when she was one month old and she and her sister Katherine were raised by the late Albert and Angela (Schibik) Thomas. They had many years of happiness together. Evelyn worked for the former W.T. Grant Co. and the former G.C. Murphy Company Warehouse. Her passion was sewing, doing crafts and working in the yard with flowers. She is survived by her sons, John W. Shaw and Raymond C. Shaw of New Stanton, niece, Janet (Ed) Baldridge of North Huntingdon, nephew, David Lieberum of Irwin, and great-nephews, Christian and Nathaniel Lieberum. She was preceded in death by sisters, Katherine E. Kreiling, Gertrude Lieberum, and Marie Orman, brother, Howard Thomas and a niece, Tina Lieberum. Friends are welcome Tuesday February 23, 2021 from 3-7 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
