Mark Lane Anderson, 61, of West Mifflin, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021. He was born May 10, 1959 in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Brooks and Colette (Logue) Anderson. Mark was a member of Praise Assembly of God Church in North Versailles. He was a Sunday School teacher and the president of the bowling league there. He was the Regional Manager of Southwest Subway overseeing 7 area stores. He was an amazing boss and leader at Subway. He had a quirky sense of humor and always made his point in just a few words. He loved sweets, raspberry iced tea, reading, and spending time with his grandchildren and taking them places.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy L. (Barclay) Anderson, daughter, Markie L. Anderson and son, Shane M. Anderson of West Mifflin, brother, Randy (Debbie) Anderson of Greenville, sisters, Robin (Drew) Levitske of Jefferson Hills, Martha (Mardy) Brown of Columbia, SC, and Roxanne (Mark) Atterholt of West Middlesex, grandchildren, Caleb Murtaugh and Chloe and Jaxon Anderson along with nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his niece, Kaleigh Anderson. Friends are welcome Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Praise Assembly Of God Church, 245 Foster Road, North Versailles. Funeral service will be held at church on Friday, February 26, 2021 at 11 am. Interment will follow at Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon.
