Walter A. Trayers, 82, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021 at Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville.  He was born March 3, 1938 in McKeesport, a son of the late Andrew and Bernie (Dakin) Trayers.  Prior to his retirement, Walt was a die maker for General Motors and a veteran of the US Army having served during Vietnam.  Walt was a founding member of the Italian Brotherhood of Guffey and the American Legion.  He is survived by his  beloved wife Janice Davis Trayers; sons, Timothy Trayers and his wife, Jodi, Jason Trayers, Todd Trayers (Kristin) ; brother, John Patrick (Rose) Trayers; and four grandchildren, Cassie, Joseph, Amanda and Andrew one great grandchild, Rylynn.

Friends will be received onThursday 3-7 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA.  A funeral service will be held on Friday 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Private Interment to follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com .
