Richard "Dick" Thomas Dalton, 66, of Mount Vernon, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021. He was born December 25, 1954 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Charles E. and Carole (Lockard) Dalton, Sr. Dick was a retired welder for Gardner-Denver and was a US Navy Veteran. He was a 1973 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School. He is survived by his wife,  Janine R. (Johnson) Dalton, sons, Gary W. (Tammy Locy) Popham and Nicholas (Amanda) Dalton of Forward Township, daughter, Erin Dalton Cox of Buena Vista, sister, Margaret "Peggy" (Harry) Morrison of Elizabeth Township, brother, John "JD" (Lisa) Dalton of White Oak, grandchildren, Devin, Gary, Carly, Faith, Seth, Travis and Trent, sisters-in-law, Carlene (George) Macik of Greensburg and Gaylene (Kip) Copeland of Greenock, brothers-in-law, Chuck Johnson and Norm Johnson of Elizabeth Township, nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Emory Dalton, Jr., son-in-law, Jeffrey Cox, and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Norman and Ruth Johnson. Friends are welcome Friday, March 12, 2021 from  2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
