Louis "Bud" F. Holtzman Jr., age 83, of McKeesport, died March 21, 2021, at home. Born February 13, 1938, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Louis F. Holtzman Sr. and Mary (Ormond) Holtzman.

Bud retired from the McKeesport Area School District, where he worked in maintenance. He also worked for U.S. Steel Works.  Bud was a member of many clubs, including the 11th Ward Club, EBA Club, Polish Club, and Boston Vets Club. He enjoyed watching cowboy movies, listening to polka and the oldies, and going dancing. Bud loved to go boating with his family and to cheer on the Steelers.

Bud is survived by his children, Louis F. Holtzman III of McKeesport, Cindy (Dan) Galiyas of Glassport, Cheryl (Jon) Holtzman of Glassport and Christine (Ed) Thomas of McKeesport; grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn, William, Bryanne, and Austin; 5 great-grandchildren; and brother, James "Jim" Holtzman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Charles "Shad," Leonard, Mary Lou, William, and Patrick.

Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, from 1 p.m. till the time of funeral service at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Charles Owston will officiate. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
