Mary M. DiAngelo, age 90, of Clairton, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Concordia of Monroeville. Born October 19, 1930 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (McGinty) McAraw. She worked as a secretary for Firth-Sterling Steel Co. in McKeesport, PA for many years, was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish in Clairton, and a former member of St. Paulinus Church in Clairton, where she served as a secretary. She loved going to the Twinsburg Festival in Ohio with her twin sister Ella and her greatest comfort was walking through the Holy Doors of the Vatican in Rome.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, the late Nick V. DiAngelo, who died 12/18/2012. She was survived by her son Vincent DiAngelo of Clairton; Sister Ella McAraw of White Oak; sister-in-law Dolly McAraw of White Oak; also nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by Brother James McAraw. Friends will be received in the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, 555 Fifth Street, Clairton, PA 15025, on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM. In order to comply with Covid-19 restrictions, guests are required to wear masks and follow CDC social distancing guidelines. You may be asked to limit your visiting time so that all guests will have an opportunity to pay their respects. The family would like to express their understanding to those who are unable to attend due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 10 AM at Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish (St. Clare of Assisi Parish site).
