David Henning, age 51 of McKeesport, died April 20, 2021, at home. Born December 10, 1969, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Donald Henning and Alice Gardner Myers Henning.

David was a McKeesport High School graduate and was a huge McKeesport Tigers fan. He loved working at Giant Eagle, and everyone who stopped in knew his smiling face. David was a life-long member of the Kephart United.
Methodist Church.  David was a Pittsburgh sports fanatic and could tell you the stats for every Pittsburgh team. He was truly an inspiration to everyone he knew and had a gift for making lasting friendships.

He will be greatly missed by all.

David is survived by his aunt Mary Ellen Hawley, uncle Harl Hawley, and aunt Mildred Thomas; cousins Karen Jeffer, Sharon King,  Arthur F. Myers, Thomas Myers, Craig Myers, Brian Myers, Melanie Kortz, Robin Galatin, Tara Sue Minyon, Christopher Hawley and Richard Hawley, his Fawcett Plan extended family, including Doreen Jacobs, who was always faithfully by David’s side during his illness, and her sons, Bobby, Anthony, Ryan, and daughter, Dana DelDuca-Cindric, Jamie McDonald, and many more.  They not only considered David part of their family but played a huge role in his care throughout his life.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his uncle, Arthur Bickerton Myers, and aunt, Janis Myers, who were like second parents to David; his beloveded maternal grandmother, Margaret Myers; and uncle Tom Myers and aunt Irene.
Family and friends may be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, April 23, 2021, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, at 10 a.m., at Kephart United Methodist Church.
Burial will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
