Jean Elizabeth Pozzuto, 89, of Naples FL, formerly of Elizabeth Township, passed away Friday, April 23, 2021 just one day after her birthday due to complications of COVID. She was born April 22, 1932 in Duquesne and was the daughter of the late Edward and Agnes (Wohl) Shaffer. Jean was a devoted wife of 70 years to the late Michael Pozzuto, who passed away January 16, 2021. She worked alongside her husband, as a Manager of Pozzuto & Sons Plumbing but also as proprietor of Jean's Bath Boutique. She was a member of Mary, Mother of God, St. Patrick Church, Christy Park. 

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Lori) Pozzuto of Tarpon, Springs, FL, Gary (Pam) Pozzuto of Jefferson Hills, PA, Barry (Chippy) Pozzuto of McKeesport, PA, and Richard Pozzuto of Naples, FL, loving grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Derek, and Jeanna, and nieces and nephews, including Robert (Marianne) Mozes of White Oak, PA, and Frank Mozes of Duquesne, PA. She is also survived by good friends, Rosalee Haggerty, Janet Duval, Michelle Marlow, brother-in-law, Donald (Barb) Pozzuto, and sisters-in-law, Lynne Pozzuto, Betty (Dan) Mains, and Annetta Pozzuto. In addition to her parents and husband, Jean is preceded in death by her sisters, Florence and Dorothy, brother-in-laws, Ralph and Jack Pozzuto, and sister-in-laws Rita Cook, and Geraldine Pozzuto. Jean truly enjoyed raising her four sons, which were her pride and joy as well as spending time with her grandchildren. She loved being a part of a huge family and her happiest times were made with family members. Jean will be deeply missed but our hearts are full knowing you are with Mike and there to greet us when our time comes. Friends are welcome from Wednesday, April 28, 2021, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew. J.
