Scott Samuel Kecman, 50, of Liberty Boro, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021. He was born March 3, 1971 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Steven Jack and Frances Helen (Magley) Kecman. Scott was the Proprietor of Handyman Home Improvement. He was a great carpenter and loved working with wood. He was an avid Harley Davidson rider and also enjoyed riding and restoring classic dirt bikes to their original condition. He loved the mountains, fishing and camping and his Classic 1969 Ford F-150. He was also a guitarist in several area bands.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Ann (Piplica) Kecman, brother, Steven Mark (Debby Johnson) Kecman of Glassport, mother-in-law, Emma Piplica of Liberty Boro, brother-in-laws, Eugene (Lori) Piplica, Allen (Mary) Piplica, sister-in-laws, Valerie (John) Thomas, Lorrie Bryner (Paul) Walter, and Janette Linn, nieces and nephews, Rachel (Jorge) Nevarez, Nick Piplica, Ivan (Maggie) Thomas, Nathan Thomas, Megan (Kyle) Fitch, Shannon (Clancy) Kay, Curt Bryner, Angela (Donnie) Linn, Dylan (Stephanie) Mehalcik, Anthony (Megan) Piplica, Holly (Nate) Phar and Denise Gray, great-nieces and great-nephews, Makena and Violet Nevarez, Annabelle and Lila Thomas, Shane, Ryder, and Levi Rudberg, Noah Mehalcik, Dominic and Isaac Piplica, Zoey Phar, Seth and Vicky Gray, Andrew and Daniel Gray, and cousins, Monica and Melissa Alomney. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Nick Piplica, brother-in-law, Anthony Piplica, and friend and band member, Danny Johnson. There is no visitation.
