Mary Elaine (Lewis) Angeloff, 86, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Saturday June 5, 2021 at home, after losing a valiant battle with lung cancer. She was born on September 16, 1934 in West Elizabeth, the daughter of the late William J. and Margaret (Leightley) Lewis. Mary started working in finance at the former Haines grocery store on Route 51 by Century III mall and then worked as a lead teller for the Pittsburgh National Bank in McKeesport for nearly 20 years. In her spare time and hobby, Mary was fondly called the “cookie lady” and actively involved in supporting the community for over 30 years by literally baking thousands of dozens of homemade cookies for weddings and other special events and celebrations around the Pittsburgh area.

She is survived by her three daughters, Deborah (Charles) Moore of Apollo; Ellen (Jack) Badstibner of Oxford; and Linda Klein of Winston-Salem, NC as well as her six grandchildren Dana (Mario) Marsinetti; Emily, Matthew Badstibner; Jessica Klein (Ryan) Smith of Winston-Salem, NC, Nathaniel Klein, and Melissa Klein (Thane Campbell) of Chapel Hill, NC. She is also survived by seven loving great-grandchildren Alisa and Alaina Marsinetti, Gage and Braxton Smith, Jamaal and Caiden (Badstibner) Brown, and Tannen Campbell. Aunt Mary will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years William V. Angeloff and all nine of her siblings including sisters Elizabeth Alfreda Palmer Tortorice, Beatrice and Peggy (who passed away as an infant) and brothers James (who died in France during WWII), Harold, Clyde, William, David and Lester.
