Wanieta Ann Smith, age 83, of Lincoln Place, formerly of McKeesport, died July 10, 2021, at Kane Community Living Center. Born October 18, 1937, in Homestead, she was the daughter of the late Alek and Ruth (Miller) Kundick and the wife of the late Clarence "Smitty" Smith.
Wanieta was known as "Mrs. Clean" as she always kept her home neat and tidy. She loved to travel and enjoyed going to Las Vegas.
She is survived by children, Ramona (Edward) Mattich, and Richard (Maria) Smith; grandchildren, Nicholas Adamczyk, Meredith (Ed) Floor, Jason (Rose) Smith, Stacey (Justin) Beatty, Shayne (Bryan) Mattich, and Tom Gillott her adopted grandson; great-grandchildren, Mike, Jayden, Alexis, Avery, Jordan, Donovan, Leilah, and Jacob.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, 4 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 22, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home chapel.
Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park.
