Obituaries | The Tube City Almanac | August 30, 2021
Dolly Mularski of White Oak, born and raised in McKeesport, went to be with the Lord on August 10, 2021. Born July 10, 1930, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late John and Alexandria (Izbicki) Mols. Wife of the late Eugene Mularski (1993), married November 11, 1951, and mother of Dan Mularski.
Dolly was a woman of great character and loved by her many nieces and nephews and their children from both sides of the family. She had a few visits to hospitals over the years, but time and again was referred by the nurses as one of their favorite patients because of her pleasant attitude.
She graduated from McKeesport High School in 1948 and worked as an Executive Secretary for Westinghouse for 36 years retiring in 1994. As a world traveler, trips were made to Poland (twice), Germany, London, Alaska, and the Caribbean.
Mom was a faithful attendant of the St. Mary Czestochowa Church (currently Mary, Mother of God Parish) since childhood and a member of both the choir and Christian Mothers for many years. She loved Polkas and sang and danced with The Karuzela Chorus (Pittsburgh’s only Polish choir) for ten years.
At 91, Dolly was independent, still driving, walked every day, and stayed fit consistently going to Aqua Aerobics twice a week at the Wilmerding Community Center. She developed and maintained quite an array of friendships. As a regular attendant of high school reunions, exercise classes, visits around the neighborhood, and communicating with family, she touched many lives.
Mom lived a full life with us and will be missed, but I will see her again in heaven. Thanks for being such a great mom!
In the Bible, the Apostle Paul writes to the Galatians (5:22-23) about how others know God is working in a person's life. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentlenesses, self-control. Mom had all the fruit!
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworksi Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. A Memorial Mass will follow at Corpus Christi Church at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions were suggested to Mary Mother of God Christian Mothers.
