Patricia L. Highberger, age 79, of White Oak, died October 6, 2021, at UPMC McKeesport. Born July 10, 1942, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Karnas) Mularski and the wife of the late Jay C. "Punk" Highberger.
Pat retired from McKeesport Hospital, where she worked as a switchboard operator. She was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, and attended Corpus Christi Church. Pat was also a member of the North Versailles Senior Place. She enjoyed cooking and attending bingo.

Pat is survived by her sons, Daryl (Stephanie) Shoben of Tucson, AZ, and Tim (Rhonda) Shoben of North Versailles; grandchildren, Ashley of Apollo, T.J., Haley, Cassie, Zachery, Samantha, and Elizabeth; sister, Barbara Atkinson of Greensburg; sister-in-law, Sandy Mularski of Katy, TX; also many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Pat was also preceded in death by her first husband, Daryl "Butch" Shoben; brothers, Thomas and Ronald Mularski.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, October 11, 2021, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 10 a.m., in the funeral home chapel.
Committal prayers and burial will follow in St. Mary's Polish Cemetery.
