Jessie Mae Brownfield, at the age of 76, Jessie was a loving mother of two children and two grandchildren. She passed away on  September 30, 2021 at Riverside Nursing Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel P. Allen, Sr., Lillian J. Allen, and her son, William Brownfield.

Jessie was born October 17, 1944, in McKeesport, Pennsylvania.   She was the youngest of seven children. She was a graduate of the McKeesport Area School District   She loved doing various crafts and putting jigsaw puzzles together. She often worked at her sister’s personal care home. Creative Ministries Berachah is where Jessie was a church member, she served on the prayer and bible school ministry; Mother’s Board; and Hospitality Team.

Jessie is survived by her daughter, Alisha Brownfield; son, Michael Brownfield, Sr; two grandchildren, a host of Godchildren, two sisters, Theretha Marshall of Clairton, Shirley Felton of McKeesport; one brother Samuel P. Allen, Jr. of Wichita, Kansas; nieces, nephews, as well as a host of family and friends.

Arrangements were in charge of Robert A. Waters Funeral Home.
