Ann Tomaino, age 95, of McKeesport, died August 18th, 2016, at John J. Kane Regional Center in McKeesport. Born November 16th, 1920, in Duquesne, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Irene (Kertas) Iski and the wife of the late Joseph A. Tomaino.
Ann was a retired personal caregiver. She was a member of the former St. Pius Church and First Christian Churches in McKeesport. A caring, loving and generous sister and aunt, she especially enjoyed baking and cooking for family and friends.

Survivors include siblings, Irene Kovalyak of West Mifflin, Betty Anitori of Liberty Borough, Joan Beckowitz of Lincoln Borough, Rose Zilich of McKeesport; sisters-in-laws, Mary and Felicia Iski; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by siblings, Mary Bestwick, Frank, Andrew, Gabriel, Charles and Joseph Iski; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alma, Cris and Lorraine Iski, Sam Bestwick, Mitch Galiyas, George Kovalyak, Gene Anitori, Joe Beckowitz and Joe Zilich.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Ann’s great nephew, Father Zachary Galiyas, at St. Patrick Church in McKeesport, Tuesday, August 23, at 12:00 noon. Family and friends are invited to attend a luncheon that will immediately follow Mass, in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to The Intersection Community Health Center, 115 7th St., McKeesport, 15132. Ann’s nephew, Mitch Galiyas and niece, Terri Michell would like to thank all of Ann’s family and friends for their loving outpouring over the past several years.
