Emilene D. Homa, 91, of Elizabeth Township, passed away, Monday, November 8, 2021. She was born May 11, 1930 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Vasil and Anna (Kurta) Feruck. She was the wife of the late Samuel M. Homa who passed away May 30, 2019. She was a member of Dormition of the Holy Virgin Mary Russian Orthodox Church, McKeesport, and Duquesne VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Lynn Jakub of West Mifflin, brother, Daniel (Carol) Feruck, grandchildren, Adam (Jill) Jakub of West Mifflin, Erika (Mike) Armstrong Jr. of McKeesport, Holly Jakub of West Mifflin and Chynna Rae Bugan, great-grandchildren, Max and Jenna Jakub and Malanya and Kobe Armstrong, sister-in-law, Nancy Homa of Elizabeth Township, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Bugan, granddaughter, Melissa Jakub, and son-in-law, Ramon "Jake" Jakub. Friends are welcome from 11 am to 12 noon at Dormition of the Holy Virgin Russian Orthodox Church on Friday, November 12, 2021. Funeral Service will begin at 12 noon. The Rev. Dimitri Ermakov will officiate. Interment will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
