Mary (Pastor) Vereb, 102, of Duquesne, died peacefully on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, in Eldercrest Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Munhall. Born on March 26, 1919, in Ironwood, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Barbara (Adorjayn) Pastor. Beloved wife of the late John P. Vereb, she is survived a daughter, Barbara Vereb, three grandchildren, Jamie Bottesch (Charles Stemler), Robyn (Pamela) DeGuffroy, and James (Leslie) Bottesch, and five great grandchildren, Kasi (Stefan) Bleakney, Ethan Bottesch, Morgan Bottesch, Riley Bottesch, and Naia Bottesch, and nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Arlene Bottesch and two brothers, Frank and Michael Pastor.

Family and friends will be received from 3-8 P.M. on Friday November 12, 2021, in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home, Inc., 828 Richford Street, Duquesne. A Blessing in the Memorial Home on Saturday, November 14, 2021 at 9:30 A.M. will be followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in Holy Name Church of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish with Rev. Daniel Sweeney as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Elias Cemetery, West Mifflin.
