Peter Nicora, 84, of McKeesport, passed away Friday, November 12, 2021at home. He was born March 4, 1937 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Peter G. and Mary (Gavrus) Nicora. Peter worked at the former US Steel National Tube Works and also worked for the United Steelworkers Union. He was a member of Beulah Park United Methodist Church and the Eleventh Ward Welfare Association. Peter served in the US Army.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Carole (Gradisek) Nicora, sons, Jeffery L. Nicora of White Oak and Christopher Dean (Jill) Nicora of McKeesport, sisters, Connie Nicora of Elizabeth Township, and Linda Tosko of CA, brothers, Daniel Nicora of Greenock,  and Rudolph Nicora of Christy Park, grandchildren, Jami Conner, Jade Nicora, Alan Nicora and Jack Nicora, great-grandchildren, Calli, Hunter and McKenzy, great-great-grandchildren, Donivan and Elijah, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Cary David Nicora, sisters, Viola Gazdich and Florence Irwin, and brothers, George Nicora and Mickey Nicora. Friends are welcome Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 2-4 and 6 until time of service at 7:30 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.
