Rosemary C. Matibe, 83, of North Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Hempfield Manor.  She was born October 8, 1938 in Braddock, daughter of the late Michael and Rose (Krivansky) Cupak.  Prior to her retirement, Rosemary was a licensed practical nurse for Caritas Christi - Sisters of Charity of Seton Hill and a member of Paintertown Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed crocheting, playing the piano and volunteering at her church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Richard and Jeffrey Matibe.  She is survived by her husband, Robert H. Matibe; son, Daniel Matibe and his wife, Yong Cha; daughters, Cynthia Caninzun and Suzanne Matibe; sister, Shirley Caulfield; grandchildren, Leeza, Aaron, Christopher, Michael, Diana, Amanda (Ben), Courtney; and great-grandchildren, Sofia, Thia, Scarlett and Robert.

Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA  15642.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m.  in the funeral home chapel.  Interment will be private in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Irwin, PA.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Paintertown Lutheran Church.  www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
