Irene A. Anselm, 83, of North Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Arden Courts, Monroeville. She was born June 17, 1938 in Jefferson Borough, a daughter of the late John and Jean (Farber) Wallace. Prior to her retirement, Irene was a bank teller for Clairton National Bank and various savings and loans as well as secretarial work. She was a longtime member of St. Agnes Parish and enjoyed aerobics, cross country traveling, fishing, bowling, camping and water skiing. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Anselm; son, Clete Anselm and his wife, Lisa; daughter, Kristin Stanchik and her husband, John; sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Vansickle, Patricia Mollenauer; grandchildren, Kayleigh and Aubrey Anselm, Jacob and Megan Stanchik. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA 15642. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Church. Private entombment in Jefferson Memorial Cemetery.
