Lori Ann Fritz, 55, of Elizabeth Township, was called home to her Lord on Sunday, December 5, 2021 after a courageous battle with multiple myeloma. She was born September 20, 1966 in McKeesport and was the daughter of Kathleen (Vennebush) Howell of Boston and the late Robert E. Howell. She was a graduate of Edinboro University and worked as a RN BSN for over 26 years for UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Lori was a member and a Deacon at Round Hill Presbyterian Church. She belonged to the Sutersville Moose, WMBU in Blythedale, and was the "Hoagie Queen", registrar and nurse for her beloved EF church camp at Cresfield. Lori was an extraordinary wife, spectacular mother, loving daughter, great sister, loyal cousin and a fierce friend. She always looked out for people's needs. Lori was loved by one and all and will be greatly missed.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 29 years, Kevin J. Fritz, daughter, Kaylee Fritz of Elizabeth Twp., sister, Danielle Howell of Boston, brothers, Robert J. (Mary Ellen) Howell of Franklin Park, John E. (Adah) of Clinton, nephews, Michael (Lainey) Fritz of Brookville, and Patrick (Carley) Fritz of Cannonsburg, mother-in-law, Vesta (Terry) Fritz Siple of Brookville, brother-in-law, Gregg (Ann) Fritz of Brookville, as well as a great-niece, great-nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, William Fritz. Friends are welcome on Thursday, December 9, 2021, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, Director. Funeral service will be held at the Round Hill Presbyterian Church on December 10, 2021, 10:00 am with the Rev. Matthew Stith, officiating.
