Elizabeth A. Kocak, 74, of North Huntingdon, passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at her home.
She was born February 6, 1942 in Braddock, a daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline Farkas Vargecko. Prior to her retirement, Elizabeth was employed by the VA Hospital as a nursing assistant and was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. She was a doll artist and enjoyed making china dolls, sewing her grandchildren's Christening outfits and Halloween costumes, and baking. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph. She is survived by her husband, Raymond G. Kocak; son, Raymond J. J. Kocak, and his wife, Jana L.; daughter, Christine L. Trone and her husband, Timothy R; sister, Geraldine Slear; brother, Patrick Vargecko; seven grandchildren, Jessica, Amber, Devin and Zackery Kocak, Samantha, Marley and Tyler Trone; one great-grandchild, Rowen Kocak; and her loyal dog, Gracie. A memorial mass will take place on Friday, September 2 at 10 a.m. in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, North Huntingdon.
