With sorrow, we are announcing the passing of our mother, Ruth C. George. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Sarah Berkoben, and her husband, E. Dale George. She is survived by her children, Charlotte (Shelley) George, Jeanne (Harry) Shields, and Joanne (Terry) Antonacci. Also survived by her grandchildren, Gayle (Chris) Reed, Virginia (Erik) Shields, Drew Elovitz, Devon Elovitz and Kevin Antonacci. Our mother will be remembered for her strength when faced with adversity. Special gratitude extended to our sister, Joanne who put her life on hold to be our mother’s primary caregiver. Thank you Sissy. Special thanks for the loving care provided by our friend Vonnie Madigan. Following our mother’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
