Gerald Ross Waugh, 72, lifelong resident of Port Vue, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022. He was born March 29, 1949 in McKeesport and was the son of the late Lamont and Betty (Cole) Waugh. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 49 years, Sherri (Raymer) Waugh. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on September 1. Gerry is also survived by his sons, Monte (Dana) Waugh and Lyle (Shawna) Waugh. Also proud grandpa of Trent and Logan Waugh. Gerry served honorably on the USS Theodore Roosevelt on 5 Polaris deterrent patrols during the Vietnam War. Once out of the Navy, he worked in the automobile business. After he retired, he and Sherri enjoyed traveling and antiquing. One of his favorite hobbies was finding antique clocks and restoring them. There is no visitation. Private burial with Military Honors will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
